SEMAGLUTIDE
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 medication originally developed for diabetes. It works for weight loss by increasing feelings of satiety (fullness), slowing the GI tract, slowing glucagon release by the liver, and stimulating the pancreas to make more insulin. Common side effects are related to how it works - nausea, diarrhea, constipation. This injection is taken one time per week.
TIRZEPATIDE
Tirzepatide is a dual GIP/GLP-1 medication developed for diabetes treatment. This drug class is heavy-hitting for weight management efforts. It works similarly to semaglutide, increasing feelings of satiety, slowing the GI tract, slowing glucagon release by the liver, and stimulating the pancreas to make more insulin. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, and constipation. This injection is taken one time per week.
BELLA CAPSULES
Bella capsules are a combination of 5 ingredients that are all routinely used for weight management. Ingredients are bupropion, naltrexone, topiramate, metformin, and B12. Average weight loss is 10lb per month when combined with healthy diet and regular exercise. Most common side effects are fatigue and brain fog that should get better with time.
